Congrats!

Congratulations to Tarah and Drew. Maddux was born on Saturday, December 29th, 2007! I am so excited for you guys. Your baby is lucky to have such great parents.

Is it really over?

The Christmas season is my FAVORITE time of the year. I love the lights everywhere. I love the red & green. I love it all. My decorations are up as soon as possible. (I almost made TJ go out in the rain to get a tree.) You can only imagine how disappointed/depressed I get when it's all over. I have a hard time taking down the decorations. That was my day yesterday and I have to admit it is nice to have my house back in order. For now, my countdown has started or next year.

Temple lights

We took Zoe and Zane to see the temple lights. It was a little cold but it was beautiful! Since I couldn't make it to Temple Square this year. Mesa Temple Lights will do.

I can't wait for TJ to be a dad. He was so good with the kids over the weekend!

TJ's Grandma

TJ's mom turned 60 over the weekend and we had a surprise party for her. It was very entertaining!!! The highlight of the night was Grandma and her special birthday rap. She dressed up for the occasion and everything. If you want to check it out here she is:

Sorry I didn't take any pictures. I have got to remember to carry my camera with me.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

I love to decorate for Christmas. It took me several days to finish my tree and I am not thrilled with it but I love to get home and turn the lights on! Now I have to work on getting presents to put under the tree.

The reason I am having a boy:

Saturday was my last night of work at Pottery Barn Kids. I am going to miss the discount but I am not going to miss the on call shifts and the long nights. I love that I don't have to worry about getting time off any more!!! I did not want to walk away empty handed and this is my favorite bedding at the store. It was already on sale so I got an amazing deal. Since I don't know if my baby is a boy or a girl I decided to get the bedding. It's ok if I have a boy I will just have to do more shopping....

Ford Family Fun!

We flew in on Thanksgiving day- this was the only rental car they had left. I HAD to take a picture. It was a fun car for the weekend!

I didn't take any pictures of the meal that Ali prepared or our gift exchange. Here's pictures I took towards the end of the trip:

It started out as a family baseball game .... By the end we were all wet! (Except those who went inside TJ included.)

We went bowling for family night and I am pretty sure both Elly and Conner got a higher score than I did! We had so much fun and it was great seeing everyone!

Rise and shout the Cougars are out...

GO BYU!!! I went to school in the days of Gary Crowton need I say more???? My point being we didn't have much to cheer about when it came to football. But now I want to give a shout out to the Boys in Blue. They went 10-2 this season, ranked 19th overall and they get a rematch against UCLA in Las Vegas. Also, last years starting QB, John Beck has started the last 3 games for the Miami Dolphins (we don't need to mention that they are the worst team in the NFL).

I'm in love....

... with my little tiny baby! I had my first doctors appointment yesterday and everything went great! We were able to hear the heart beat, it was amazing. It is starting to feel real now and I am very excited!

Summer

Thanks to Drew's Birthday I had a reason to take TJ to Dodger Stadium! We had such a great time. I only wish our trip was longer so I would have been able to visit family. We took some pictures at the beach too but I can't find them so this is it for now.

I think I'll go to Boston....

Since Blair moved to Boston last fall it was only fitting that we visited her for our annual sisters weekend. I had an amazing time and I am pretty sure it's my favorite city!

Blair was an excellent host. She took us to Fenway and I was blown away. It was unbelievable. Being the World Champs that they are, of course the Sox won the game!

Yes, I do have 5 sisters. Only 4 made the trip (and Brennan came too). I love my sisters and have such great memories of our trips together.

8 Weeks Today!

I couldn't wait any longer. After letting my mind wander for a couple days, I bought a pregnancy test on my lunch break. Since this was the first test I ever took, I wasn't smart enough to buy the multi pack. So, after taking the test once and worrying that it might be compromised I went and bought another one. The first test didn't lie.
