Wiggle Worm

Goodnight

Good morning

Every night when we lay Paisley down to bed she is perfectly swaddled and placed in her bed. More often then not when we get her in the morning she has turned herself into an entirely different position. How does she do it?

Growing Up (too fast)

What turning 3 months means:
Her 0-3 month clothes are too small and 3-6 month clothes are too big (but we are making it work).
She sleeps longer at night and her naps are longer- with less feedings and naps throughout the day.
She's learning to wiggle her way around.
She's starting to laugh.
She is getting bigger and bigger every day.

Happy Birthday Pop

Emily took on the project of converting some of our old family slides into digital pictures. It was so fun to see all these pictures of my parents younger than me. I guess they are lucky in that respect they will stay forever young. I loved this picture of my dad when I saw it I turned to TJ and said "my dad was cool". So here's to you dad - the coolest dad around.

Where were you when the world stopped turning that September day?

I was living in the Riverside Condos in Provo. My roommate came in and told me that 2 planes crashed into the World Trade Centers in New York, another plane crashed in Philadelphia and another into the Pentagon. I remember the somber feeling that day and the days to come. Businesses shut down, flags hung everywhere, honoring the innocent lives lost on that horrible day. I hope our country never has to face anything like that again. I am grateful for the unity it brought to our nation. I am grateful for all those who serve our country on a daily basis and I am grateful to be an American. God bless the USA.

More Pics....

Work isn't so bad when I have this helper. Paisley is about as enthusiastic as I am when it comes to working.

The other day I took Paisley on her first run. I think she liked it she fell asleep half way through.

Last but not least, I love dressing Paisley up for church. Yesterday she looked so cute in her brown and pink polka dot dress. She's getting so big. I love this picture of her.

Two Six

(Poor Paisley- I guess she didn't want to be in the picture)

It's nice to have TJ back in town. On Tuesday, I spent the day with my 2 favorite people (P & T). It was a great day. TJ tried hard to make sure it felt like my birthday (since I always make such a big deal about it). Thanks to everyone for thinking of me on my birthday. Thanks to my amazing friends who organized a lunch for me- I feel so lucky to have such great people in my life.

With this my latest birthday having come and gone I cannot help but look back on my 25th year. It was an amazing year. I have so much to be grateful for. First and foremost: Paisley, she has brought so much into my life - a whole new prospective as to what is really important. Pregnancy was an interesting experience as well- so many highs and so many lows... I am grateful to my husband who always puts up with me, he is an amazing husband and if I dare say, an even better father. It was also the year I said goodbye to the matriarch of my family, my Nana. I was reminded just how valuable life is. I am grateful for what I have learned and experienced over the past year and look forward to the years I have ahead.
