We sold our house and have a couple of weeks before we can get into the new place. I decided to take a trip to see Auntie Blair in San Diego. Nothing like going home to your sisters house when you don't have one of your own. (Although TJ's parents have been very good to us as we have been staying at their house for the past couple of weeks.) It was a much needed stress free trip and Paisley had a great time and Lynden was a dream.

Paisley really wanted to pet the birds. I guess she does not take after Aunt Jennie.
I feel in love with this park. It was a beautiful day for the beach (in November).

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I sure wish Santa would look at the camera. Paisley went right up to Santa and gave him a big hug. She's very excited for Santa this year. As for Lyndie, she's undecided.
Her first gingerbread house.
Temple lights. Paisley is obsessed with Christmas lights and points them out every time she sees them.

Blessing Day

I am grateful for my 2 beautiful, healthy girls.
I am grateful that both my Lyndie and Paisley have been blessed by their father.
I am grateful for my family.
I am grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Lynden Rae

I started to dilate at 36 weeks. By 37 weeks I was dilated to a 3. I assumed there was NO WAY I would make it to my due date... At 39 weeks my doctor scheduled my induction for 9-27 at 3:00 pm (turns out this baby did not want to come on her own). That morning the hospital called and said they were running "slightly behind" and didn't know when they could get me in. So rather than sit around and wait for a baby to come I decided to make dinner.
While dinner was in the oven the hospital called and said they were ready for me. We took dinner and Paisley to TJ's parents and then we checked in at the hospital. By 7:00 pm I was in labor and delivery and the nurse started pitocin. Around 10:00 I asked for the epidural and was dilated to a 5. Around 11:00 the nurse came into check me and said I was ready to go. We waited for the doctor. As soon as Doctor Huish got there I started pushing and Lynden arrived at 11:57 pm on 9-27-10, 7 pounds even and 20 inches long. Everything was flawless. She's perfect and we're all home and happy.

New Camera

The good news is TJ got me a new camera... So maybe I will actually start taking more pictures. Here is the love of my life eating all the icing and sprinkles off her donut and then giving it back to mom- isn't that nice of her?
We are getting ready for baby sister, 2 weeks and 6 days left until my due date (but who's counting???).

Thank Goodness for Naps!

(this is one of the moments I love... she picks out the marshmallows, I can't blame her for that)
A few weeks ago Paisley could do no wrong in my eyes, she was my
bff, my buddy, and my little angel. She's still all those things but she has hit the terrible 2's. I am still learning how to deal with this stage and I will admit I'm not the best at dealing with it. It makes me want to pull all my hair out and question why I am having another child???
But then there's the moments when I am putting her to bed and she begs me to lay down with her- or when the only person she wants is her mommy-and of course when she is fast asleep- those are the moments that make it all worth it.

Beach

We took off for some cooler weather this 4th of July and it was amazing. Paisley played all day with her cousins at the beach. She loved the sand, the water, the toys, cousins, aunties and uncles, and of course sandy food. We had such a good time in San Diego. Auntie Blair was so nice to let us crash at her place. It was a great trip and we cannot wait to go back.

Practice

It's so hard to get a good picture of my baby these days. She always wants to take the camera from me. She got this new baby today (thanks to Auntie Noelle and family) and she is in love with it. I will let her practice on the doll before baby sister arrives.
My girl is officially a big girl. She is potty trained (for the most part), sleeps in a big girl bed, and talks more and more every day. I am completely obsessed with her and LOVE spending every minute of my day with her.

Growing Up

I don't think I could be more in love with my little girl right now. She is so much fun. She is learning to talk, count, sing songs, read books, oh yeah... and climb out of her crib.
She is also learning to cook. Every time I pull out the mixer Paisley grabs a chair from the table and drags it across the floor to the counter where I am cooking. Of course her favorite thing is to eat whatever it is that I am making.
The girl is also obsessed with choo choo trains- she thinks everything is a train, the laundry basket, police sirens, play dough... I think our best purchase was this little train set from IKEA she LOVES it.

Stolen

First I have to say a gigantic THANK YOU to Lisa, TJ's sister who watched Paisley last week. The best perk is her photography. She took some great pictures of P (like these that I stole from her blog). Check out Lisa's work here.

Bedtime

Paisley was stalling going to bed last night. I had so much fun hanging out with her.

Paisley

It is so hard to try to get a picture of Paisley with her cute pigtails- as soon as I put it in, that flower comes out of her hair (which by the way is the reason for the messy hair pics below I had to stop putting hair ties in for a while because she was pulling so much hair out).

Paisley LOVES to go for bike rides- if she's playing in the backyard she will climb in the trailer and beg me to take for her a ride. This particular day she wanted to bring her pony, teddy, and baby with her.

A rare moment for P. She's not much of a cuddlier (unless she knows you are trying to put her to bed). Paisley loves her daddy and asks for him all day long.
