Christmas Vacation

We had a great time at visiting my sisters for Christmas. We drove to Emily's house on Christmas Eve. Paisly had such a good time with her Aunties, Uncles, and Cousins. On Christmas Eve the kids (Elly (Mary), Conner (Joseph), Haden (donkey), Brennan (??), & Paisley (baby Jesus) ) depicted the nativity scene while Ross read Luke Chapter 2.

Christmas morning. All Paisley cared about was the tissue paper!
The weather cleared up so we had a little fun with the toys outside.

Blair actually drove the 4 wheeler (sorry the picture isn't that great).

Gotta love rock band. I am thinking this is going to be a new tradition every time we get together- it's way better than pictionary!

Family Pictures

I have been waiting to post these pictures until I got my Christmas cards out. They are out so some of these pictures might look a little familiar.
TJ's sister Lisa took this pictures for us. Her latest passion is photography and that works out great for us. I am so happy with how the turned out. We just had family pictures done a few months ago that I also love- you can never have too many pictures right?

First Bite

I'll be honest, I have been avoiding starting Paisley on solids. Her Doctor said we could/should wait until 6 months so we did (give or take a couple days). But it was time. Paisley stares at our food every time we eat, you could tell she was curious and anxious. So Daddy feed her some rice cereal last night. We aren't sure how much of it she actually swallowed, but the good news is she didn't put up a fight.

All she wants for Christmas

If all she wants for Christmas is her two front teeth, then we are set.
She's growing up too fast. I cannot believe how quickly she changes.

Making the most of the season

This is by far my favorite time of year. The only way I could love it more would be if the weather was a little cooler and there was snow on the ground. (It could happen right? Snow in the desert?)
So here's our festivities: Friday consisted of getting out all the Christmas decorations including buying a tree. I convinced TJ that since we are leaving before Christmas it's ok to get a live tree so early. Plus Thanksgiving was late this year.It took me 3 days to get the tree decorated it's not like me, I know.

The lights are up.

Then we went to temple lights. This is the only picture we got.
You wouldn't know it by this picture, but Paisley actually enjoyed the lights.

If you have any recommendations of things to do during the Christmas Season please let me know.
