4.29

Then:
This picture was taken during Christmas break of 2004. I think it was the day after TJ proposed to me. We had to take our engagement pictures before we went back to school. The last semester flew by and 4 months later we got married, moved to The Grand Canyon State, got jobs, and had no idea what was in store.
Now:

I still have no idea what's in store for the future and some things haven't changed much (we still live in Arizona and probably always will). Every day I get to spend with the 2 people I love the most is a gift from God.

We've come a long way over the last 4 years. I couldn't be happier with the place I am at in my life right now. I feel so lucky and blessed.

Happy Anniversary T. Thanks for 4 great years.

My kind of cat

Paisley was crawling around the house all morning with this toy mouse in her mouth. She loves putting toys (or anything really) in her mouth and then crawling around. Today I discovered a cat that I actually do like :)

Daddy's Girl

I was in the kitchen cleaning and I started hearing this giggling. It's one of my favorite sounds so I had to record it. Paisley loves playing with her Daddy.

She loves to crawl and climb her new favorite thing is to crawl through her exersaucer.

Paisley is so lucky to have such a good Daddy. He watched her all by himself this weekend while I went to Boston. When I got home it didn't even seem like she missed me at all.

I tried to get a picture of her in her Easter dress but she didn't want to sit still and smile- this is the best I could do.

I had so much fun this weekend with Blair and JoAnna. Thanks for a fabulous weekend.

RoLLeR CoASteR

My life has been a complete roller coaster over the past few months. In the middle of January TJ called me up and told me that Fulton Homes was filing bankruptcy and once the month ended he would no longer have a job. Of course I freaked out. We didn't have very much money saved and what we did have we were using to compensate for losing my income when Paisley was born. I had no idea what we were going to do. We didn't know if we were going to lose our house, our car, or anything else. After a while I calmed down, even though my life had just been turned upside down I realized this was the hand we would be dealt and we had to figure out how to live with it.
Things managed to work out for us. My work picked up and it was nice to have TJ here to help take care of Paisley. We put our faith in the Lord and knew we needed to trust in him. I am so glad we didn't have to wait too long. This week TJ got a job offer. I feel like a gigantic weight has been lifted off my shoulder. I know that if you put your trust in the Lord he will provide. I feel so incredibly blessed to have faith in my life. There's been several times in my life when I would not have made it through with out the comfort of the Holy Ghost and my faith in God the Father, and his Son, Jesus Christ. I know that the Lord is mindful of our needs and I honestly believe that he has to give us trials to remind us who is in control. I am so grateful to Heavenly Father for providing for us and blessing us during this difficult time.

Where's my baby?

Paisley is learning to pull herself up. I feel like this happened over night. I love watching her grow- but I do miss being able to sit and cuddle with my baby. She's more and more like a little girl and less like a baby every day.
Um, how do I explain this picture? The girl likes Baby Einstein!!

Paisley pulled herself up onto the ottoman. I was so proud of her. I went to take a picture and it was on video instead of camera. This is what happened. Don't worry she's fine :)

Family Events

It's been a big weekend for the Ford Family and I am so sorry we missed all of it. Congratulations to Ali and Justin. After being in labor for 36 hours, Ali had an emergency c-section and delivered this cute little baby boy. Aedan Souza was born yesterday afternoon. Congratulations Al - we can't wait to meet him.
Isn't he so cute?

On Saturday, Noelle, John, Abby, Michael, Jenna, and Emma were all sealed as a family in the Sacramento temple. Contrats Philpott family. We are sorry we missed your special day- but hope that we can make it up when it's Isiah's turn.

Sometimes it's really hard living so far away from everyone and this weekend was one of those times. You were in my thoughts. Love you.
